Deco design Sunbeam Toast Witch Toaster, No. B5, made by the Chicago Flexible Supply Co. with cord. Heats up when plugged in. Great design! On the front it has black knobs to set the amount of darkness of the toast and to control when the heat turns off. I don’t know if it was also supposed to pop up the top or not. It does not pop up the top when the timer stops. There are only minor signs of wear. About 3 1/2 inches of the fabric covering on the cord is worn and soft. The plug might have been replaced at one time. There is no covering where the screws show at the open end of the plug and there is a bit of black tape at the back of the plug. If interested in using the toaster for toasting, in the interest of safety it would be wise to have the cord rewired or replace it with a cord in better condition. Note that the part of the cord that is inserted into the back of the toaster is smaller in width than some of the standard sizes that were used in many antique toasters so only cords with that smaller size end would work.
