Please look at pictures, what you see is what you get! Sold AS-IS! No guarantees or returns!!! **RARE** 1970’s Ray-Ban B&L Aviator Yellow Flying Colors 58mm G-15 Lenses W/ Box, Case, And Cloth. These are a part of Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb's hard to find "Flying Colors” collection from the last half of the 20th century. They are very reminiscent of the 1970’s, with the classic aviator style being supplemented with vibrant yellow outline. This pair in particular is incredibly hard to find since they are unobstructed. The color outline (possibly enamel) covers the metal lens frame and the ends of the ear pieces (temple tips) as well. The “Flying Colors” colors, though, often would peel off over time due to poor upkeep and overall aging, not dissimilar to the Ray-Ban “Leathers” production line. This pair, however, is in brand-new condition with no signs whatsoever of either use or damage. Bausch & Lomb had various different productions of short-term sunglass lines (e.g. the "Diamond Hard," The "General," "Ambermatic," "Chromax," “Leathers,” etc.) which are relatively unknown today outside of a community of collectors and vintage sunglass enthusiasts. These are the epitome of true B&L Ray-Bans, a prime example of the quality-over-quantity craftsmanship that used to be seen in Ray-Ban. The design on these is unique, from the arms to the frames of the sunglasses themselves. These do NOT appear to have ever been worn, with NO blemishes. This is just my opinion, though, and not to be taken as a statement of fact. I may see no flaws but you might; so keep in mind that if you purchase these, it must be done knowing that there are NO returns or guarantees! They DO come with an authentic Ray-Ban hard case, cloth, and Bausch and Lomb box, but they are NOT the original ones that these sunglasses were sold in. These sunglasses have the common identifying marks of authentic B&L-era Ray-Bans: The "Ray-Ban" insignia is marked on the upper-left corner of the left lens, and the "B&L" initials are embossed on both the left and right lenses on the outer edge adjacent to the arm hinges. There is “BL” etched on the inside of the nosepieces, which are completely clear (another sign of never being worn). On the underside of the top bridge connecting the lenses, “B&L Ray-Ban 58-14” is also engraved. Unique to this pair is the “Flying Colors” wrap around the glasses’ frame and temple tips (end of the arms). Due to this, the Bausch and Lomb model number—which would usually be engraved on the inside of the left arm piece’s temple tips—is covered up. These also have the classic B&L Ray-Ban flat-head screws (as opposed to the Phillips head screws used in Luxottica Ray-Ban). These have the classic Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban green “G-15” lenses that have no damage at all from what I can see. Again, I put as many high-quality images as I could on the listing, so please look at them BEFORE YOU BUY! Feel free to message me with any further inquiries or offers!
