This is used and in good working condition. This was plugged in and turned on, and all the surfaces heated up. The inside seems to have some coating on it, I don't know what it is or if it is supposed to be there. This is coated on the surface even the outer rim.(See pictures) I have not tried to clean the inside at all, only wiped the shiny chrome off. See pictures
